Clarkies/those interest in FP-Former Peace Corps Volunteers for Clark site
Edited on Thu Jun-10-04 03:20 PM by Gloria
Stumbled across this site yesterday...this is where I found out about Clark's attendance at the ICC in Morocco, June 6-9.

This site has a forum and links and news. It is all set up but the owner is debating about what to do with it. Check it out. With Clark obviously heavily involved in a future Kerry Administraton, it might be a very useful place to have around for foreign policy news and discussion.....

Former Peace Corps Volunteers for Clark--Discussion and information with a global focus...

The original intent of this site was to organize support for Wes Clark around foreign policy issues, specifically targeting people who had lived, worked or served overseas. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, I felt that I could speak up for that group. A secondary thought was to show that Wes appealed to non-military internationalists in addition to his veteran supporters.

When Wes withdrew from the race, the sign-up page was deleted and some of the library and sidebar entries were deleted or changed, but I decided to continue posting through the end of the year--with the thought that Wes Clark would surely be involved in some capacity in a Kerry administration.

I also planned to change the title of the site and the banner to appeal to a wider audience and to update the sidebars and library, but have not gotten to it. The latest development is that the domain name that FPCVs for Clark has been fortunate to share is going down at the end of June. I am thinking about getting another domain name to continue the site, folding and continuing to post similar foreign policy content in another venue, or hanging up the keyboard altogether. Is a site like this useful?

If any readers have suggestions, now is the time to speak up.

4. Oh, Jeez...
I was supposed to do the banner for this nice lady. I met her at the WesPAC event in NYC.

Doh!

I'm glad I saw this.
