Obama rally pics!!! (Eight-year-old photographer alert)
Ok. I couldn't go. But, I made sure the two youngest went. So, I ended up with an eight-year-old photographer. A picture is still worth a thousand words, but at a third grade level. ;)

10. She had two minutes of training in the parking lot from me, and she took 40 shots.
Those were the seven that were actually in focus, but they are dynamite!

Taking indoor photos with the typical little digital (Sony Cybershot in this case) is a big challenge. I'm very proud of her.

30. You should be!
8 out of 40 in that kind of situation ain't bad shooting at all ... especially for an 8 year old novice!

34. She's a quick learner, Amazing pics, I know you must be so proud
I too, have a Cybershot, and when we went to see Obama for some strange reason the camera started acting up. It was as if it had a mind of its own. I sent a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on with it. I did manage to get a lot of shots, however, I wasn't on the floor, so Obama wasn't larger than life.

Your daughter was fortunate to get as close as she did. Too bad the taller folks didn't let her closer to the stage. I know from experience (short person) how frustrating it can be when taller people obstruct your view. Luckily I know how to whistle extremely loud and rather high pitched, so some times I blow out the taller people's ear dums and they make room for me:rofl:

Buzz Clik's daughter :yourock: Way too GOBAMA.

You are the coolest parent ever.

My dad made me go see Billy Ocean when I was 8. He's not up for any awards.

8. I think they're Good pics!
Perfection isn't everything it's cracked up to be, or so, at least, my daughter the graphic artist says.

I'll bet you already did, but, tell your daughter she did a good job, from me.

:hi:

27. Sweet! I'm jealous; my baby's all grown up and living in the Northwest.
No grandkids yet, because of this http://www.tweakinteractive.com/ - note the frequent use of ir-regularities. She started showing an interest in visual design when she was about your daughter's age.

16. Great photos.
Seriously. My 21-year-old son/photographer dropped my digital camera when we saw Barack here in San Francisco and didn't get the shot of me shaking Barack's hand and talking with him. Drats. And the rest of the photos were pretty crap.

My hat's off to your 8-year-old photographer.

My compliments to the photographer! Is she available for weddings, bar mitzvahs, family reunions? I'm 50 y.o., and haven't taken a pic since I was teenager, I think she has a future.
