Sorry, had something come up during my research.

From the looks of it, this was a tremendous failure. They seem to have maybe got 50 people and since they've been handing out flyers like mad accross NY the Today show had extra security brought in to keep the pot bangers as far from the window as possible. It appears they also cut off the web cam at Rockerfeller center so the people banging pots at home couldn't drum a long. I guess they didn't realize that a national TV show isn't going to give people calling for the head's of anchors on their cable sister network any air time.

Well sadly they failed...I realy was hoping this would be a success for them. So much for their grassroot organizing they better go back to doing what they know how to do and that's taking orders from the top.

There new spin seems to be that at least the people of NY saw them in thier protest...good thing too because the NY primary is coming up so soon!

It also seems that they are blaming Katie Couric's current problems on sexism...being a dismal third in the ratings has nothing to do with it but I digress.

Another Clinton Fade..the Protest that Fizzled

I'm starting to get the impression that there is a general malaise in the Clinton Camp.

The much-touted anti-media protest that was supposed to take place this morning in New York outside of the Today Show at Rockefeller Plaza is another example.

Did you forget about it?? I almost did, and it cetainly looks like many of Hillary's supporters forgot also.

The online message was pretty clear...and loudly stated throughout Clinton's web supporters.

The list of demands was oft repeated:

We demand an END to Media Bias!

We demand an END to Hate Speech!

We demand an END to Prejudice against Hillary!

We demand Florida & Michigan votes COUNT as cast!

We demand an END to Rigging of the Democratic Primary!

But..come the big day and not too much noise. I popped over to the

Protest Watch Thread at the Hillary Clinton Forum and the results are pretty sad.

Maybe 100 people..no coverage, lots of calls being made to news agencies asking them to please get over there, and finally a post from senior member JJ4Hillary yelling for the solution so often looked for by Hillary's chosen.

CALL FOXNEWS PEOPLE, THEY MIGHT COVER IT

Is this less than remarkable result on Hillary's home turf a sign of a campaign tiring of its own message?

I almost feel bad for the organizers. Its obvious that they put effort into the protest that wasn't, then I remember what there goal was. An effort to manipulate the media, dishonor agreements regarding Michigan and Florida, and to turn back the clock to frame women as victims is not something I'd march for. Looks like others wouldn't either.

True Clinton supporters are serious-minded, and the vast body of them will take a hard look at Obama once the deal goes down and find a way to come to grips with him being the nominee. Wingnuts like these, however, have such a feeble grip on reality that they may well write in the Geico lizard in November.

I kind of figured only 10-50 would show up (seriously, no matter who you vote for, not many people could really be this stupid) but I'm really disappointed with the lack of kitchenware. That was really gonna be the cherry on top for me. Oh well, at least these new pics will echo for eternity.
