Hillary Supporters
I am a Hillary supporter but she cannot mathematically win the nomination without a massive swing of the SD of at least 70%. Lets be honest with ourselves and swing our support behind Obama now so we have a much greater chance of beating mccain. I have mistakenly stated in the past I would vote for mccain if Obama wins the nomination but that would be a grevious mistake and betray my democratic ideals. I must blame my evil twin. Obama may not be experienced enough to be president of the United States but I think he will show wisdom and select a cabinet that has knowledge and experience in the areas he lacks. Obama is not my choice as the nominee but he is who I will be stuck with and 8 years of republican rule is enough! Put and end to the right wing/corporation backing/religious right movement before more and more of our rights are taken away from us. I dont advocate Hillary should pull out of the nomination, but she must know mathematically she cannot win without massive SD support and overturns the popular vote which would be bad for the democratic party.

1. yet again, you are acting as if the SD votes were static. They are not, and if the trend swings the
other way, i guarantee you they will change.

3. it would have to be a damned large swing.
essentially, Obama's candidacy has to implode for Hillary to get the
nomination.

6. Yes it would
have to be a very large swing and some of these SD are in office of some kind. If they overturn the popular vote voters will be very angry in those states and the SD who overturn the popular vote will regret it. SO it will not bloody happen. As Senator Palpatine stated "All who gain power are afraid to lose it."

9. Not likely
to happen since Obama is a very good at campaigning. I seriously doubt any more wright kind of stuff to turn up between now and the rest of the primaries. As for those who bash Obama for those depaul college students using university equipment to print obama campaing material you should be ashamed of yourseelf because Obama is not responsible for that. However he should publicaly admonish those who violated university rules regarding political campaign use of university property. I mean Kinkos is like 10 a copy! What possessed these people! If they want him to get elected do it the right way and not with some passion filled craze against better judgement.

5. All I can say is this Ilithiad
follow your heart. MOST of us Obama supporters were NOT Obama supporters when this thing started. My wife and I were Edwards supporters until about a week before the Florida (non) primary. I read an article posted at The HuffPost where the Edwards campaign was saying that they didn't expect to win ANY primaries. At that point we switched to Obama-a decent second choice, as Hillary Clinton is a decent second choice for Obama. I'd vote for either one-gladly.

No way they are made in China. We need to make a stand against China and I think Obama will do that....many people dont remember this but there was scandal during Clinton's presidency involving chinese spies or something?

referred to as a cult by the more radical element of the Clinton base-we have taken to making fun of that claim then fighting about it anymore.

People have the right to vote and she has the right to continue running. If she loses I will support Obama but until it's over I will support Hillary.

and will stay that way until Senator Obama gets the requisite number of Delegates or Senator Clinton drops out. This race is not over yet despite the calls for Senator Clinton to drop out.

18. Who are you trying to kid
I don't know of any Hillary supporters who would ever think of throwing in the towel when Hillary has a great chance of winning. I especially don't know of any Hillary supporters who want to roll over and give up on her with the PA primaries looming upon us.

I have mistakenly stated in the past I would vote for mccain if Obama wins the nomination but that would be a grevious mistake and betray my democratic ideals. I must blame my evil twin.

She is a Democrat, this is a close race, and she should stay and fight until the end!

Go Hillary!

20. I wan't looking for approval...
...but it was a nice try no?

Anyway Hillary does not have a great chance of winning. Dont take my word for it. Go to Cnn.com's politics site and do the delagate math and use past primaries to figure out percentage distrubition between HRC and Obama for up and coming primaries. She has to win every state 63% and get 65% of the SD. Very unlikely. If it happens it would be the most incredible coup in the democratic primaries in history. I am not rolling over and giving up on her just facing the mathematical odds.

which is pretty great if ya ask me. Now that the momentum has shifted, Obama has his work cut out for him now.
