"I have nothing but contempt for Mr. Penn" (Begala) |
|
Quote of the Day "I have nothing but contempt for Mr. Penn. And for those of us who wanted to see him out from the beginning, it became almost a Rumsfeldian thing. And he is not even fired. He has been demoted. How could this be?" -- Democratic strategist Paul Begala, quoted by the Huffington Post. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/11/begala-nothing-but-contem_n_96226.htmlhttp://politicalwire.com/archives/2008/04/11/quote_of_the_day.html

I can't believe he would say anything negative publicly about Hillary. Wow. He must really despise Mark Penn. Or Penn is being set up to be the scapegoat for their mistakes. Sorry, I don't think that Mark Penn is the only problem.

3. Camp Clinton is trying to create the illusion of distance between Penn & the rest of them |

Probably because of the Colombia thing. Hillary has to maintain the LIE that she opposes corporatist free trade agreements.
