Just when you think you've heard them all, I learned a new expression today.

Caption this while you're at it:

1. LOL
No caption. BUT -- it was a pretty easy question. Your husband made $800k paid by a foreign body to promote a trade deal you profress to disagree with. Care to explain?

5. Not sure I can come up with a good caption--but WOW(!)--talk about being thrown by a question!
She can't defend her husband's activities????? Give me a break! If she wasn't smart enough to figure out this hornets' nest for herself--why didn't anyone in her campaign alert her that she would be getting questions about Bill and his ties to Columbia?

Trust me--we DO NOT NEED ANOTHER CLUELESS LEADER IN OUR COUNTRY!

30. The problem is....
Hillary did not defend her husband's actions - she laughed and giggled and laughed again - waved her arms around but never did answer the question put to her.

6. I'm still trying to figure this one out but I honestly don't think there's an answer.
"How many angels dance on the head of a pin"?

Anyone else trying to give her the benefit of the doubt- and just failing to come up with any coherent explanation? Not that I expected one after the actual stammering she did while attempting to come up with some sort of answer.

It's ben a long time since I actually heard someone stammer like that- it was right off some cheezy sitcom they play in The Hell for Democrats.

8. Scornful description of a tedious concern with irrelevant details.
Scornful description of a tedious concern with irrelevant details; an allusion to religious controversies in the middle ages. In fact, the medieval argument was over how many angels could stand on the point of a pin.

31. No..I think it just makes her look old
being older then Hillary myself - I can see the bags, the sagging muscles, the wrinkled skin - I recognize them all - what is most upsetting is how glazed her eyes are - I cannot imagine what she would be able to do at 3:09 AM when she looks this exhausted in the middle of the day - I know political campaigns can be tiring - but she is quite a contrast to the bouncy image of Senator Obama

16. For the uninformed or google challenged.
The question how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? is an example of an ontological argument. It has also been at times used as a trite dismissal: of medieval angelology in particular, of scholasticism in general, and of particular figures such as Duns Scotus and Thomas Aquinas.<1> Another variety of the question is How Many Angels Can Sit On The Head Of A Pin?

It is still a matter of discussion whether this precise topic has a historical foundation, in actual writing or disputation from the European Middle Ages. One theory is that it is an early modern fabrication<2>, used to discredit scholastic philosophy at a time when it still played a significant role in university education. James Franklin has raised the scholarly issue, and mentions that there is a seventeenth century reference in William Chillingworth.<3> This is earlier than a reference in the 1678 The True Intellectual System Of The Universe by Ralph Cudworth. The modern currency in English (usually a needle, rather than a pin) may date back to Isaac D'Israeli.

25. It's actually a pretty old expression.
In ancient days of yore, theologians supposedly actually sat around the Vatican debating this sort of stupid stuff, and the expression has come to be a "trite dismissal" of a question. _more_

29. Exactly.
She invokes the idea of a question that has no answer and attempts to trivialize the whole topic in that way.

It was a really stupid move on her part, I think -- another sign of being her own worst enemy.
