McCain vs. Clinton/Obama? |
|
A very insignificant, but potentially telling poll, my husband was just down at the local watering hole. Of course they were discussing politics. Three (repeat 3) staunch republicans said that in a race between McHundred and Obama or Clinton, they would all vote for Obama, but none for Clinton.
My husband feels the same way.

2. Obama will stomp McHundred |
|
Those in the Clinton camp love to bring up polls showing things being very close, but the polls are only close because there's a brutal primary contest going on splitting the dems. Once this primary fight is over, and Obama is the nominee, it won't take long before Obama's lead starts to grow.
It's going to be a tough year for the R's...

3. Change really has no party affiliation |
|
A great many life long Republicans no longer see what their party has come to represent as working in their best interests.
But its not so much a party issue, its more an issue of they no longer want traditional politicians in charge.
Hillary and McCain are traditional politicians, and her "experience" message (and his age) just reinforces that notion.
Obama really is the only alternative for these voters.
