1. Agreed, but....
What I found more interesting on his show today was the discussion about the oil reserves that the USGS confirmed in North Dakota and Montana.

9. Depends.....
Easier to get at than it used to be, they think they can get it for $20 a barrel or so. And North Dakota seems to be gearing up for a influx as well. Even down to discussion of a state-owned refinery, simular to the bank and grain mills North Dakota already owns and runs.

15. 5 Billion Barrels = 250 Days Of US Consumption!
Not much to get excited about!

5,000,000,000 / 20,000,000 (us consumption per day) = 250 days

2. It is possible. But leading in the polls 3 days before does not necessarily
translate to a win. It would most likely mean a single digit win for Hillary.

Ed thinks Obama can take PA, Obama says it is possible if he plays a "perfect game". I hope they are both proved right.

He said he sees what's going on there and he sees a lot of excitement for Obama.

14. here it is:
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0804/11/sitroom.01.html

SPECTER: Well, Wolf, it's only one man's opinion, but I would pick Obama at this stage. He is running a good ground game.

He's got a bus tour going to just the right spots. I know them because I've been there many times. Doing a lot more advertising. And I think the momentum is with him.

But these elections have so many ups and downs, it's hard to say. But that would be my pick.

BLITZER: You think the Independents, those who have helped you over these years, you think by and large they're going to turn for Obama? Is that what you're saying?

SPECTER: Well, that's my sense of it. Senator Clinton started off with a big lead, 16 points. Down to five. That looks like a trend in politics.

And he's running a good campaign. And all of that television advertising with his extra money, I think is having a significant effect.

7. I like that he said, "Senator Clinton said, I don't know what to say about that?"
"you say, I disagree with that, and as a Senator and as your President, I will not let that happen. Thats what you say. You don't laugh"

I paraphrase of course.

10. also, all the new voters are a piece of the puzzle that can't be
predicted with surety. Whoever gets the most, they will overcome other factors. I agree with Ed.

11. This isn't SC. This time he targeted a big bloc of voters with his bigotry
Sadly, you can use homophobia with impunity politically. Small town folks? Not so much.

13. And oddly
In SC, he made open use of religion and homophobic dogma with a 'Faith and Family Tour' but in Pennsylvania, they 'cling to religion'. I do not really see how that works.
