We live in Arizona and own property back North (Michigan) and wish to put it up for sale. Out of the 5 realtors we are considering asked us (Which is against the law, at least to our knowledge) if we would have any political signs on the property that we wanted to list, because if we did they wouldn't care to list our property.

*gulp*

2. Stand your ground

So to speak. Get in the car, drive to Michigan and post your signs. Find a realtor that isn't afraid.

Hell, sell the land (via escrow) on Ebay and ditch the realtors altogether.

9. That's not Northern Michigan.
Guess the bridge and vast distance will keep me from planting some Obama signs on your property.

6. Okay
So, I take it there are no political signs on your property. So, what's the problem?

Do, look into selling your land via Ebay/escrow. Cut out those greedy middle men.

10. We're greedy, so selling on Ebay isn't an option.

11. You're the realtor?
Now, you're not making sense. Wouldn't you rather get more money by cutting out the realtor fees?

13. No, of course not. Ebay isn't an option for this property, It's going to be listed
at over a million.

7. Pukes are swooping into our "Up North" and getting crazy deals
is my guess.

Northern Michigan property values have fallen and folks down-state that have a summer cottage can't afford both homes in this economy.

Some property values have fallen $300,000 or more per the Detroit News.

I think that's totally against the law if that is what they are doing.

12. Let's face it
Like Ohio...Michigan property is hard to sell. No realtor wants to waste their time. It's next to impossible to sell a house in Ohio right now.
