Obama supporters: Isn't it great supporting a candidate that tells the unvarnished truth?

Seriously....

When presented with a question, our candidate actually does something amazing.... he answers it. And not with some canned line that he's memorized.

But with the truth.

The God's honest, unvarnished, absolute truth.

It's so refreshing... so shocking... that it causes many to say, "Oh my gosh! how do we interpret that?"

For Hillary supporters... who've spent the past months becoming so comfortable with defending obvious lies, the truth has become unrecognizable.

So when they hear it... they can only react with outrage.

America has its breath of fresh air. The name for it is Barack Obama.

3. naivete? Is that the label you're putting on truth-telling now?

You only want Presidents who lie to you?

Well.... keep it up... that's what you've been getting for decades now, and that's what you'll continue to get.

18. Such cynicism is exactly what he was talking about.
Bitter, bitter, bitter. Don't you want to change that?

9. According to the freepers, America prefers a candidate/president who lies. LOL
But yes ... I am very proud of Sen. Obama. I'd rather hear the truth any day over some bullshit pandering/spin.

10. He should borrow a line from Reagan...
And just say "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"

Better yet, make it eight instead of four. He could easily use this when framing McInsane as an extension of Chimpy.

11. Unvarnished truth!? Like when he said he never knew
about the racist things Wright said? That just being one of many.

13. Wright said many unpatriotic things... but not racists things... not in any of the clips you've seen
...on the news the past month.

Secondly... Obama said he had heard SOME of the controversial things Wright had said over the years, but not the specific comments that were playing in an endless loop from 5 sermons over the past 7 years.

24. Yeah...just like that...
isn't it funny how some white people view 'racist' remarks? Especially after the entire fucking world has seen Reverend Wrights "Complete" sermons? But hey.....don't give up hope...after all Obama is BLACK! And there's always Rezko, and elitism!

14. The problem is, he will always be a candidate. Not a president.
There are some things you just don't say if you want to win. You may hate that, but that doesn't make it any less true.

16. I disagree with you strongly.... ask Harry Truman.....

America wants a President that tells them how things are. After 8 years of Bush, this is like an oasis in the desert.

They haven't had that in a VERY long time.... and so your "models" about what works and what doesn't in a campaign don't fit this time around.

You are going to be very surprised at how America (and PA) reacts to this.

I'm a Pennsylvanian. Have been my entire 41 years. He "gets" this state, especially those of us west of Harrisburg, perfectly.

Life sucks and then you die. Nothings going to change so don't even bother trying. Only fools dare to dream. Nothing is possible, and everything is inevitable. 300 million people can't do a fucking thing.

20. The Republicans have been waging a war on truth for 7+ years
When a politician like Obama comes along and speaks the truth from his heart, some people don't know how to react at first. Then they react with fear and attacks. They're not used to the truth, it shocks them. The Repukes and the Corporate Media want to play the old game. Hillary wants to still play that old game, but Obama is changing the rules.

27. Yes!
I appreciate the truth any day of the week.

My 87 year old dad said that after the initial surprise wore off people would realize that what Obama said was true.

It was funny watching the lame stream media trying to puff this up into an "issue".
