10. Their show is too expensive for my budget.
Saw them a couple times years ago (on The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste and Psalm 69 tours) and they were awesome. But I can't justify paying 40 odd bucks to see anyone short of Nomeansno...and even then I might balk. I'm so spoiled by club shows and the $7 - $15 ticket prices. :)

11. Yah I'm with you there. We can't afford as much as we used too, that's for sure.
Here in the Twin Cities we have First Avenue, a small venue that's way more fun than any arena show.....other than Barack Obama.

Saw many great bands for 10-20 bucks, that's easier to deal with.

I would however, pay 40 bucks to see a band like the Plasmatics. Too bad Wendy passed away.

12. Interesting responses. It's just a Rorshach experiment. No right or wrong
Me: Bush '04 (Fear: "wolves" ad/hate us for our freedoms/911/911/911, Swift Boat Vets Campaign, Massachussets marriage ruling/anti-marriage amendment reheated)

also: Congressional Republican midterms '02 (mushroom clouds/dirty bombs/unmanned drones, Cleland=Saddam=Osama et. al, 1st biennial anti-marriage amendment).
