Clinton and McCain are coordinating and piling on Obama. Does this bother anybody else? It's just strange.

3. If Hillary isn't GIVEN the nomination, then she's hoping McCain will win the general.
McCain will not run for a second term and Hillary will run again in 2012 as the "Savior of the Democratic Party".

4. my rule is
If you have to go out of your way to call all the press, and give them Grover Norquist's thoughts on what Obama said, then the "flap" is basically crap.

Notice how after the Wright thing, Hillary didn't say anything for weeks. That was actually something that could have hurt Obama.

If you're all over the press feeding them Republican talking points, you know that it's just politics.

9. Did it occur to you that they are piling up on him because he's their opponent?
Obama is Hillary's opponent, and McCain views him as his future opponent, which is understandable, since Clinton's chances are nearly zero.

I don't see a conspiracy brewing.

11. They're both flailing around hoping that something, anything can improve their slim chances
against Obama. Running on the issues or their own virtues simply isn't working, so they're willing to try anything. Who knows, maybe they'll get lucky and land such a devastating blow that we poor Americans will have no choice but to turn to one of them to lead our country. Or maybe not.
