I just heard a real wingnut saying he would vote for Kerry! |
|
This guy is way way out there, loathes Democrats as much as you can imagine, thinks the Republicans are left of center, ect. But he's more of a Pat Buchanan type than neocon. Whatever the case, he said that a Kerry administration is one of the worst possible things he can imagine, but there are a few things that are even worse, including a second term for *. So he will reluctantly vote for Kerry.
If * is losing people like this, he's just plain toast!

4. how could someone LIKE this disaster? |
|
but basically, he sees that * is a total idiot in no position to guide the country, and will just lead us to further disaster in Iraq and home.
As Jon Stewart put it once "If someone drove you into a ditch, would you want that to be the guy to drive you out?"

Does he listen to Hannity, watch Fox News, ect? If so, what does he think of them in light of his decision? Does he get now that they're full of bunk or what?

But I imagine his opinion is probably similar to whatever Pat Buchanan thinks of him.

I honestly don't understand the polls. On the various mixed politics boards I've posted on Bush's support has eroded to just a few diehards. People are still who they were..but only the neocons are standing by Bush. Most are planning to vote for Kerry, not because they like him, but for reasons ranging from the incompetence of the administration to seeing them, not as real conservatives, but rather as free-spending fascists.

10. My brother and his wife (R's and seniors), said Kerry will get their votes |
|
Why? They told me: 1. Medicare prescription drug fiasco 2. Veteran's benefits cut by Bush* 3. Bush is stupid; Kerry smarter 4. Bush* lied about the war in Iraq 5. Kerry is a vet who fought not an AWOL (They both would watch Fox "News", now just some network news)

11. A lot of R's will be abandoning Bush |
|
and I think a lot more will do so in the privacy of the election booth than will admit it before or after.
