I had hoped Obama would prove better than this...
...Thanks Senator Obama for committing one of the dumbest political gaffes I've ever witnessed. If this is any indication of your caginess, you're not adroit enough for the gravity of this race.

How could anyone be this obtuse?!

So, now our choices are between a guy not smart enough to keep his foot out of his mouth in a race where he had a firm lead, the abrasive, corporate puppet spouse of a DINO president and the third term of the neo-con agenda.

What's that flushing sound I hear? Oh, yeah, it's the nation going right down the toilet.

2. lol. Listen to his response. He turned it around. It's not damage control any more.
It's now "Hillary and McCain are woefully ignorant of the State of the Nation and of the plight of working people."

8. what are you talking about?
I'm bitter and I know there are people out there who have much more of a right to be bitter about being ignored by Washington. Aren't you? If not, don't you know people who are? If not, where the hell do you live? 'Cause I want to move there.

Obama told the truth.

Americans tend to like that.... even if they are "shocked" initially.

19. he said too much---
from Reuters:

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," Obama, an Illinois senator, said.

******************
obama should have stopped at this point....
****************

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," he said.

*************************
BIG mistake.
