Poll question: Jello Biafra for VP?
look at it this way, there'd be record youth turnout!

Former Dead Kennedys singer for those not familiar.

3. Great idea!
Of course, Mr. Biafra has endorsed Kucinich*, and his opinion of Kerry is about what you'd expect:

http://www.westword.com/issues/2004-04-22/nd3.html

"I think John Kerry missed his calling," Jello Biafra says by phone from San Francisco. "Now that Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing aren't making those low-budget Dracula knockoffs, they need a new one. And FrankenKerry would've been perfect! I can't get it out of my mind that he voted for the Iraq war, and he voted for the Patriot Act."

Then again, taking the veep slot would be so anti-punk rock that it would come full circle and be totally punk rock, so I think he might go for it.

10. He is too far left.
Agreed. Though I'd love Jello as VP, I have to confess I am not willing to risk an election this important on it.

12. Since his heyday was 20 years ago, how could there be "record...
youth turnout"? Hell, why not just run Richard Marx or Tommy Tutone?

And he has a REALLY annoying voice

13. Absolutely. Kerry needs to balance the ticket...
with more "gravitas" and foreign policy experience. Biafra as a last name? C'mon, you can't beat that, foreign AND grave. Plus Biafra has the added advantage of not being a Republican.
