2. Yes...
what's there to be happy about?

The economy going down the tubes, Iraq war, our soldiers and innocent Iraqi families being murdered, our administration is gunning for Iran on some made up BS, we've been lied to over and over. Education is down the tubes, social security and medicare melting away. People are losing their homes, jobs, and lively hoods. Iraq has a 30 billion dollar surplus, and our country is dripping in trillions of debt. The meaning of Justice is being forever spit on when we resort to torture tactics.

No I'm not bitter at all, I love how the American people are being guinea pigs in this Fascist experiment.

:sarcasm:

9. I am bitter about the direction this country has gone, but VERY HOPEFUL for a new direction
once President Obama is sworn in, preferably with a filibuster-proof Democratic Senate.

11. We are filled with HOPE my mind is made up and I'm ready to go

Just got finished calling PA for the last two hours.

I was so inspired by your post.

I was able to contact 3 people in Ohio that are going to PA this weekend to work for OBAMA. :bounce:

The bitterness is real for not just the poor, sick or in certain states.

It is real and has been real since they stole the election from GORE.

We should all be still bitter from that one.

16. Bitter and hopeful for an America without a Bush or Clinton in the Whitehouse.
That's what small town America is looking forward to this election.

13. You must think we are stuck on stupid to just sit and HOPE

We are working 24/7 for CHANGE in America.

And if you think that we are just sitting around doing nothing -- the polls don't reflect that fairy tale.

We want CHANGE and people like you are the reason that we are working to CHANGE this country.

You have inspired me to do 1 more hour of calling for Barack Obama ~ I've been calling all day and getting great response, from PA voters.

:bounce:

Thanks again and end of discussion

12. I think that I'm genetically unable to be bitter but I'm anxious.
I have nothing that remotely looks like a retirement plan and all around me, I see my neighbors struggling.

And I appreciate Obama's candor even if it may have caused a reaction. Someone somewhere needs to speak up for the people. I never pegged him for a populist and I'm not sure he is one. But I appreciate the way he talks about issues that are so urgent for so many of us.

18. Yes I am bitter!
I am bitter about what will happen to my children, and their children if things don't change.

I am bitter that so many people are having a hard time making ends meet because of high gas prices, and rising food costs.

I am bitter because so many people in this country can not afford health care, yet we spend billions each month on a war we can not win.

I am bitter that we have seen this country sink so far in the last 7 plus years that Bush has been "running" things, right into the ground!

I am bitter that we democrats have taken the best chance of getting back in control and turned it into a "mud slinging" contest by the Clintons.

Yes I am bitter, and I will be bitter till we get some "real" change, not just more of the same old D.C. crap!

We should stand up for the poverty stricken in America. What a cold hearted person she is portraying herself to be.
