Poll question: Is it time for Obama to bring up the sniper/lying gaffe? |
|
So far he's been above it and I have really admired him for it, but at this point in time I wouldn't blame him for hitting her back. It's not like he doesn't have an arsenal if issues to hit her with.

2. Why? There's a much more productive debate available that HE controls. |
|
Just as he used the Wright attacks to discuss race, he can use the "bitter" attacks to discuss the plight of the unemployed and/or underemployed worker.
Clinton and McCain have already taken the bait and sought to distance themselves from Obama's statements. All he has to do is keep talking about the issue and he controls the discussion...and, most likely, the upcoming debate.

7. You think so? Obama needs to wrap this primary |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-12-08 01:26 PM by Bensthename
Those are the same issues as Hillary. Obama needs to wrap this primary up before it gets any worse. McCain is raising tons of money for his campaign while Obama gets bloodier and bloodier. And he hasnt even started his gen election fundraising. That is very important.
Obama is against NAFTA and should use PA as an example of bad trade deals.
Though tying the war to the economy is a great gen election strategy.

of reminding everyone about that lie... by lying about it.
Do you think there's a person left that doesn't understand and seen with their very own eyes, heard with their very own ears the lies that The Clintons tell?
Real whoppers at that.

9. The key words being "STRIKE BACK" |
|
Kerry made the mistake of staying on the high road when he was swiftboated. No candidate should attack gratutiously, but no candidate should not COUNTERattack.

10. He is not striking because he is focused on the Gen Election. |
|
He has already won the primary so no sense in tearing apart Hillary. This does not help him gain support from her voters.
Though I say rip her a new one and get this primary over with so we can start on McCain and start building some gen election funds.

12. He could eviscerate her on this and NAFTA, but that's not how he rolls. |
|
He's winning this primary on his merits as a candidate and doesn't need to dip in the well 'o cheese. His grace and honesty stands in stark contrast to her embarrassingly inept, divisive campaign.
