You think Hillary and Barack will go back to being freinds after this, like Barack said? |
|
It's sort of sad how things turned out. Hillary used to have a picture of the Obamas in her office.
Hillary thought really highly of him at one time and always said he was the future. Problem was, his future crashed into her present.
That said, Obama's not blameless either.

2. What did Obama do other than have the same aspirations that she had |
|
in him believing that he could make a real difference to this country by running for President of the United States?

I meant in terms of mud slinging |
|
I mean, Clinton's been known for dirty tricks. But, Obama's had one or two himself.

I don't see any reconciliation in their future. In fact, I could see Hillary and her supporters defecting to the Republican party.

8. Then I feel that none of them were really dems....I would never defect |
|
to the repug party and especially with someone like mc cain...If hillary got the nomination (I really think this is near impossible) I would vote for her...and I really at this point do not like her..it would be a tiny bit better than mc cain..

I cannot vote with my conscience for someone who does not represent the ideals of the Democratic party. I would not vote for McCain, either.

because they are both attorneys for starters and they know how it is just from that angle.
My ex was a cop and he used to have to go to court frequently. When he was just a rookie he came home and told me how shocking it was to see two attys in court tear each other to shreds and then once the case was over go back to being friends. After a case they would all hook up at the local pub.
It'll be OK, they know the game that this is.

They will do the pseudo hug pose sometime in June. Smile and say how much they respect and admire each other etc. etc.
I also expect there to be about 17 senators that she won't be on the greatest speaking terms with because they endorsed Barack and the way they percieved she's run her campaign against him.
If you want a friend in Washington get a dog I beleve Senator McCain said which is about one of the only things I agree with him on.

11. Did Clinton and Gore make up after 2000? |
|
Indeed, if Clinton was serious on her offer to team up with Obama...

None can survive without the support of the other's followers. They will remain friends.
