5. Don't get me wrong, I love Elvis's music, I just was never on the same page as he was politically.
He backed Nixon's war strategy. It wouldn't be such a sharp tune to use, in political context. Unless you're John McCain. Of course, then people might draw a line between Elvis and Cindy....

Hey, Michael Jackson sold millions of records, too, but no one in their right mind would touch his shit, either.
