Better Butter
Betty Botter bought some butter,
"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
It will make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter -
That would make my batter better."
So she bought a bit of butter,
Better than her bitter butter,
And she baked it in her batter,
And the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter
Bought a bit of better butter.

and then I bitter

ba dump bump!

5. ya got me
when I searched for it i found several variations, but nobody seemed to know where it originated

I can imagine its having been used on a show like Sid Caesar's Show of Shows - I can picture Imogene Coca doing it - or Red Skelton

6. You are on the right track..
in thinking comedy. It was a line from the Golden Girls, when Betty White's character, Rose, was driving everyone crazy with her Minnesota farm girl memories.
