Meet the press tomorrow should be interesting if not annoying.... |
|
From their website:
"With less than 10 days to the Pennsylvania primary, we will devote the full hour to insights & analysis on Decision 2008 with four of the sharpest minds in politics: Democratic strategists James Carville and Bob Shrum, and Republican strategists Mary Matalin and Mike Murphy. "
I think having Hillary's attack dog, Carville, on the show is not 100% fair but I hope he makes Hillary look bad.
Still, it should be interesting.

1. Carville AND Matalin? Sounds like an Obama-bashing to me. |

2. Matalin and Carville are annoying, but I'll probably turn it on because of Shrum. |

|
and he will get on there for one reason and one reason only, to cut HRC the best he can. Hopefully Carville will not be too highly medicated and make sense.

6. Shrum is a real progressive. I would expect him to cut HRC as best he can. |
|
She's a disgrace to anybody who considers themselves a liberal progressive.

7. Carville is like some sort of escaped mental patient |
|
for better or worse he's probably entertaining on an otherwise pretty bland show. I don't blame them for putting him on, at the same time nobody who's sane gives him any credibility.

their daughter, Matalin Carville, come on the show with them? I'm really interested to see which way someone would go politically with those two as parents.

12. Shrum is a wet noodle. If you are going to put up Carville, how about Rachel Maddow against him? |
|
Now that would be a fair fight.

14. In the 2004 primary Edwards and Dean both went to the |
|
National Press Club to talk about their run for President. Dean said, he supported the war against Iraq but would not have said it the same way. Edwards said he supported Bush. I remember seeing them both on and thought it was a bit strange.
Edwards has stated he is sorry for his support. Dean denies it even happened.
It tried to get the transcripts but the NPC says, it never happened. Guess I was in a parallel universe on that day.
Anyone know what date that was?
