And they claim to be more in touch with the common people.

:wtf:

Am I missing something here?

Only in the 2008 election, I guess.

:eyes:

1. Credulity
You are missing that hypnotic belief in the very expensive public relations/propaganda campaigns that the DLC wants to foist off upon voters.

2. Not this time.
Obama is calling like he sees it.

He needs to go big time on the offensive in PA this next week, and seal the deal. He has the ammo, he needs to use it.

6. Classic Rovian politics.
Filthy rich Democrat donors go to Capitol Hill to give Nancy Pelosi an offer she can't refuse.

Billary's income is more than $10 million per year.

But I'm an elitist because I support Obama.

Fuck you.

7. So Obama is a "snob" who worked on the Southside of Chicago????
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 09:57 AM by State the Obvious
How can millionaires Hillary and McCain get away with this?

When Obama graduated from Harvard, he went to work on the Southside of Chicago (not to Wall Street). I grew up on the Southside, and I know about the steel mill closings he talks about... (One right down my street.) And if Altgeld Gardens were the projects (now dimolished) where he helped people find work....more power to him. He has said in his speeches that he and Michelle just paid off their COLLEGE LOANS....because of his book sales. Look at their backgrounds....they are NOT "elitist".

Hillary Clinton lived in Park Ridge, Illinois (very expensive neighborhood). She went to Maine Township High School....the NEW one at the time....remember the high school library from "The Breakfast Club"?.... I believe that was Maine Township. And McCain's wife is an heiress...some would say very "elitist".

So let's have some ads showing the areas on the Southside where Obama worked and organized....and their show a profile of Park Ridge Illinois.

I am convinced that Clinton and McCain really BELIEVE that Americans are stupid.

13. The BOs whine about paying 10K for ballet lessons, and the cost of arugula at Whole Foods.
To people in a state with an average income of 37K and no Whole Foods Elitist Markets.

Elitist private prep school, elitist ivy league education, elitist gated community of multi-million dollar estates... Wow. That's a lot to "over come,"

16. Wow, that is interesting. I support Obama yet I don't take ballet lessons or know what arugula is
I went to a public high school, my college was not Ivy League, I have never lived in a gated community, and my income is under 30K a year. But apparently the tens of millions of Obama supporters who are not me have all of these things because you say you do, and you wouldn't just make that crap up would you? Wow, I never realized just how many tens of millions of people were taking $10,000 ballet lessons.
