Hillary was dumb to use "Bittergate" at this point...
For a number of reasons:

1. Like Wright, there is still enough time for Obama to shake this off. This will peak before 4/22/08

2. More importantly, this does not manage Hillary's expectations in PA! Going into this week, Obama had all the momentum and had done a terrible job at managing expectations. He now needed to win a state that he never had a chance to win in the first place. Now, he's back to being the underdog in PA, and Hillary is back to needed a 20 plus point lead to stay relevant.

Great job Clinton campaign!!

1. She Exposes Herself as Elitist
and so does the media or anyone else that tries to attack him on what he said. Those who nitpick at his "regret" in wording will look even more ridiculous....

What Obama did was make himself "the" Populist and it scares the shit out of the media and the elite.

2. Hillary's new message: "Don't worry be happy"!
Hell yes people who lose their job, their health care and their house are often bitter about the loss. Would you want to hear "Don't worry be happy"?

3. Thats the other thing, this "scandal" will last until to the debate, when Obama can set her up and
knock her down.

10. Actually,
I wouldn't be surprised if the Obama campaign leaked to to Huffingtion Post to get it out of the way. Evidentially, they knew it was coming.

11. I'd believe that with Wright, but with this one, Hillary needed something to distract from her own
floundering.

12. Hillary had no choice but use it now
Bosnia was back in the news reminding everyone what a liar she is
and was sinking her campaign. This bitter brouhaha knocked
Hillary's lying off the front pages... for the moment
