Children v Adults

Adults want to hear the truth. Truth like:

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Children like to reassured and told that everything is ok, and when someone speaks the truth, they're the boogeyman spreading unfound fear.

Obama told us the ugly truth. He could he have found better words? Possibly.

On the other hand, Hillary told us that there is no reason to be bitter and that Obama is just being elitist.

It's hard to swallow the elitist label from a woman who made over $109 million and is in the top 1/10th of 1% of income earners.
