1. I love Al
though I wouldn't go that far! But he MUST be a speaker at the convention (and after hearing Ron Reagan, Jr. give the eulogy for his father and the dig at *, I think it would be fabulous to have him on the program, too!)

2. Al

I've loved him ever since he confronted Bull O'Lielly at that book fair.

He was the flashpoint -- liberals fighting back the right-wing dunces publicly, afaic.

Go, Al!

4. I've loved Al
ever since I used to watch him on SNL in the 70's, but I've loved him politically ever since he wrote Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot. That's a killer book if you havn't read it yet.

3. Kerry could definitely do worse,
however, I think Franken lacks some of the experience that's crucial to that position.

I do think that he would make a great press secretary. I also really hope that he runs for and wins Wellstone's senate seat. After that, who knows what?

5. It would be funny for a week
but not funny when we lost in a landslide.
