Hope everyone is enjoying what's left of the weekend. It's beautiful here today in my small town rural northern california home, just 90 minutes away from the Marinites, and 1000's of miles away from PA. A few years ago, the last of the big manufacturing here went the way of the wind, along with all those jobs, and yeah, you bet people are bitter about the trickle down effect that's had. Anyways, I wanted to say to my fellow Obama supporters that come tomorrow I have a sneaking suspicion that a handful of multi millionaires named Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly will be lecturing us all on what everyday small town americans think about the "bitter" remarks, which is kind of a joke if you think about it. As if. I also suspect that they'll piss a lot of us off, but don't worry - try and keep some things in perspective... their followers wouldn't have voted for Obama in the GE anyways.
Plus, the people who are bitter, know deep down, in the quiet corners of their minds, that he was dead right.
That's all I wanted to say - I think it's gonna be ok.
Off to do some laundry and clean the house before it's back to the grind manana.

1. Your post makes the valid point that most people, who have yards to mow |
|
and kids to take care of and two jobs, etc., are busy doing "normal life" things.. not listening to an echo chamber of lies and distortions.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend !

2. Thx. Hope you have a good one too. With a little luck, we'll have our first barb-q-ue |
|
tonight if the weather stays as nice as it is.
As to my post, I hope the irony of a bunch of wealthy blowhards telling all us regular folks how it is doesn't go unnoticed.

3. We have nothing to fear |

We know the truth. We just have to reach those voters who are living it and/or are in denial.

5. Obama speaks the truth, how can he not win? People are NOT stupid and |
|
they are bitter. Went to the food store this morning, was going to pick up some cheese to put on Tacos. What was $2.51 last week is now $5.29. No cheese on those Tacos..... Damn right I'm bitter.

6. People are smart enough to know when they are being fucked over this bad by both sides. |
|
Obama will win.
It's a real movement this time.
Consider: In 2004 we had Eminem rapping about "Moshing through the swamp". He was pissed. We were pissed. Kerry? Not so much.
This year I can feel it. Obama is WITH us. He is speaking for us. No prevarication, no exaggeration, no simplification.
Truth.
It will free us all.
