6. Yes it is.
He speaks the truth. Government should be fearful of the people they represent, not the other way around. Maybe Hillary and the GOP are afraid, having the people angry, really angry can be career damaging.

4. He doesn't speak for me.
I live in a small town and I am offended by his condescension and stereotyping.

13. Where you see condescension I see compassion
Obama came from average America. He does not have an elite background, just the opposite. It appears he matured and worked hard to earn degrees in elite schools. That is admirable. He then took jobs that catered to the people that government ignored and tried to help them. It appears he puts his mouth where his heart is, certainly not elitists in my estimation. I suspect all politicians of pandering. He could be pandering but his history follows his ideas for making America stronger for all.

When people have lost hope and confidence in their future they lean on other issues to get them through the day. Men/women have a problem with pride when they can not support their family as they once did or hoped to do. That is what I thought he was saying and that religion becomes even more important when trying to deal with a miserable situation. I saw it as him saying, "I feel your pain".

5. He speaks for middle-aged displaced workers who are very bitter...
..as they try to get retraining, and try to get new jobs with no experience, and face age discrimination... He speaks for unemployed and underemployed who are very frustrated and bitter.

11. It's my concern that this flap
doesn't make people feel guilty or weak about experiencing these very human, real, UNDERSTANDABLE emotions.

14. We saw in 2006
the results of people angry and bitter about the condition of our government, we were able to win back the House and the Senate. The blowback against the GOP was the RESULT of that anger. The GOP have since then, realized they will probably lose the White House...Senators and Congresspeople have stepped down, not running for re-election, because they KNOW THE PEOPLE are ANGRY/BITTER.

What the hell is Clinton thinking? Democrats have to count on Republicans who are angry and bitter about their party leaving them behind...they are counting on the Independents who are angry and bitter as well. WE ARE COUNTING on the people being ANGRY/BITTER/DISGUSTED with GOP rule. IS SHE OUT OF HER MIND?
