Obama's comment won't hurt him because those who support him
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 03:37 PM by Blue_Roses
know what he meant. Those who support Hillary or McCain will spin it.

For Hillary Clinton to call Obama an "elitist" is her projecting. That's the funniest thing I've heard today. Clinton calling Obama an "elitist" when she reeks of elitism and so-called "privilege." I've always liked her, but for the first time, my blinders have come off during this primary. Do you think Hillary would be throwing back shots of whiskey if she was touring as first lady? This isn't going to make her "one of the guys." When was he last time she was pictured talking with college kids or throwing back shots with them? While this is a rhetorical question, it does beg to wonder:Why? It reeks of pandering and is blatantly obvious. I know, I know, they all do it, but come on. Enough with the "I'm-a-folksy-kind-of-girl" when we all know that in reality it's a very different story. It is not becoming. She is the epitome of being "out of touch" with the younger generation who is set to make this a record year for presidential elections. How dare we think outside the box? Seven years under Bush's rule has made us bitter, but even with that, many still cling to the same old mantra that keeps us stuck. This is what Obama meant. It's time to want more than settling for the status quo.

I've been watching John Adams and I swear, sometimes I feel like we live in that same time warp.

This really has nothing to do with guns or religion. It's about taking a comment out of context to further a political agenda and those who continue to spin it know this.

3. This is so over with even before Obama has a chance to defend himself, supposedly sometime tonight.

Even when they are not giving Obama a chance to defend himself.

All I see is live speeches of Hillary, and nothing live with Obama.

4. I am more surprised by HRC everyday.
To think that Hillary Clinton is reduced to spinning comments instead of promoting herself and her platform is pitiful. She is lost and it's not pleasant to watch the downward spiral. This woman who was full of fire and inspiration....and now she whines.

I never thought of her as this out-of-touch-time-warped-scolding-mother. That's exactly what she sounds like. A mother who "scolds" rather than "listens" before hearing the whole story.

Her constant "scolding" of Obama is turning people off faster than she can throw back that whiskey shot.

11. Too bad she can't drown those LIES Before
they POP outta her whiskeyhole ..

Freakin' poseur.

1. posuer 75 up, 20 down

The CORRECT spelling of, though not as common as, poser. ironically, the word's history is much like it's definition. a posuer is someone who decides to be something, act and/or dress a certain way to fit in or be cool, not because of what it stands for. This can apply to almost any walk of life, including but not limited to: punk, goth, emo, hardcore, skateboarding, snowboarding, and a certain band.

13. Between that whiskey sluggin' fest
and the Plastic smile and Wavin in the doorway where MLK was assassinated..I'd say hilary's never met a photo op she didn't like a la bush aboard The Lincoln with "Mission Accomplished".

They reek of desperation..that's all our country needs is another desperate decider.
