Which is "better".. Rich people telling poor people to "Don't Worry, Be Happy"

or telling them that they have a RIGHT to be:

bitter, frustrated, retributive, upset, mad-as-hell, aggravated, angered, enraged, furious, hot under the collar, huffy, incensed, indignant, infuriated, irascible, irate, ireful, livid, mad, maddened, outraged, provoked, raging, smoldering, smoldering, sore, stormy, tempestuous, umbrageous, unhealthy, wild, wrathful, wroth, wrothful ....acerbic, acrimonious, biting, caustic, hostile, intolerable, pained, resentful, sorrowful, unpleasant, venomous, virulent, vitriolic

All the above words are synonyms for angry and bitter.

I would say that most of them would fit rural/small town folks better than the glove fit OJ.

When one is scared or any of the above, it's NOT unreasonable to take the next step and realize that they would naturally gravitate to the things that make them feel a little more comfortable in their lives.. Those things could be their families/cultural upbringings (religion), their belongings that give them pleasure & satisfaction (guns), and ultimately to try and find a REASON..someone or something to blame (immigration)..

If you are a hard worker who has played by the rules, believed in the "dream" and still find yourself floundering, why would you NOT have those feelings, and why would you NOT turn to the things you could count on?

To do otherwise would go against human nature..

I have every right to be god-damn bitter.
Hillary better check herself, because she's wrecking herself.

7. I wouldn't cling to, or be proud of bitterness though
People sometimes say that I am bitter when I complain about all the hatred, cruelty and injustice in the world, or even when I complain about the sucky aspects of my own life, but generally I think I am pretty happy, especially considering my circumstances. Like the people who tell me "don't be so bitter" would be bubbling with happiness if they had a master's degree and worked as a janitor, had no spouse, no car, and a psychotic boss.

10. Bitterness can help you focus on things and may motivate people for change
Many bitter women have finally had enough, left an abusive man and started a whole new life..
