SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton says Barack Obama hasn't owned up to his comments about bitter voters in small towns.

Clinton, who knocked on doors Sunday in her father's boyhood hometown of Scranton, Pa., says people want an explantion from her rival.

Obama has been on the defensive for saying economically frustrated people in small towns get bitter and "cling to guns or religion" to explain their feelings. Obama later said he regretted offending anyone.

Clinton and other Democrats have expressed concern that Obama's comments make the party look out of touch.

Clinton was campaigning in Scranton to emphasize her middle-class roots. While there, she also planned to visit the grave of her father, Hugh Rodham.

1. I wish she would knock on my door
I'd love to meet her. Honestly...however I think the Obama signs would probably scare her off.

For people who do canvasing how staged do you think these events are (for both candidates)? Seriously I've knocked on doors for people who have decided they are voting for McCain. Do you think they would risk sending them to a random house or do they target people already identified as supporters?

2. I'm sure they are only staged by the Clinton folks only.

3. No
I'm sure the Obama folks and secret service would. Knocking on strangers doors isn't exactly the safest thing to do.

7. So, she's now basing her campaign on the 'bitter' remark? That's all she has?
