Obama supporter defends Hillary
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 04:44 PM by kristopher
I posted this theory a while back. It is admittedly far fetched, but as Conan Doyle wrote "...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

We have Bill and Hillary involved in a stand-up routine that shows they have either become totally tone deaf politically, are both experiencing early onset Alzheimer's, or there is something else up.

I don't believe they are that incompetent, I simply don't believe it. There is too much evidence to the contrary for that to be the case.

I can't rule out mental defect, but judging from their performance in other areas, they are both of sound mind.

So what could be the improbable scenario we aren't considering?

Could this all be an act?

My imagination entered overdrive right after Hillary had the schizoid episode where in the last debate at the end she first lauded Obama, stating how proud she was to be with him, then turned around and attacked his "plagiarizing" with a "plagiarized" remark of her own. The result: Obama leaves the "plagiarizer" charges in the dust. Then came the Wright matter; it not only cleared the air regarding potential liability of Wright to Obama, but it cemented in the public mind the fact that Obama was a lifelong churchgoing Christian and definitely NOT a Muslim.

I think it's possible that the day of the last debate was the day Hillary conceded the race; and that since then, she has been acting as a foil for Obama against the right wing domination of the media message. With her in the race the Dems are in near total control of the news cycle. As long as she stays in that will continue.

Think about the way things have gone since the right set out to destroy the Dem party under Ronnie Ray-gun. Through their talk radio influence and Fox they have used the economics of the MSM to set the discussion during election cycles to precisely the point where they wanted it to be. Over and over again, crap like this misrepresentation of Obama's remarks has been the difference between having political power and being an 'also ran'. The "vast right wing conspiracy" isn't just a figure of speech, it is a fact of life that we've been up against for 20 years. The Dean scream, Kerry the elitist, Biden the plagiarizer, Willie Horton, the list goes on and on and on.

So how do you counter it?

To date there hasn't been an answer to that. But maybe, just maybe, we aren't seeing an instance of a circular firing squad. Maybe what we are actually witnessing is the execution of a very tightly held plan to manage the message and bring some sanity back to the governance of this country.

Forget the rhetoric and look at the results: record turn out in 50 states; meme after meme turned impotent and stripped of impact. Listening to the MSM, you'd barely know that McCain is in the race. Could this discord be leading to us to victory?

At least, that is what I fervently hope is going on...

edited to complete a thought.

2. Nah.
So you think Hillary is just being a trooper, soldiering on against overwhelming odds?

It's possible, but I that really goes against the premise that she cares about anyone but herself.

4. I think she's hoping that something will happen that will destroy
Obama as a viable candidate, and that she'll do anything to make it happen.

6. I agree...
I don't buy the idea that the Clintons are doing all of this in an attempt to elevate someone else to power. They are making idiots of themselves and destroying what was once an enviable legacy and spot in history. There is no way they would make that kind of sacrifice just to make another candidate look good.

7. I thought of that also.
But, like any good conspiracy theory we can address that at least two ways. 1) Does that really address the motivations of someone who has been as high as they can go? Maybe wresting the House, Senate, Presidency and impending SCOTUS appointments from the hands of the Fascists now in control is reward enough in itself. Or 2) maybe there is a plan for rehabilitating the image; such as a posthumous book that details the 'plan'.

3. To be honest, for the last couple month's...

...I've really wondered if it all wasn't an act. Put Obama up against a huge "machine" so that when he wins, you give him the appearance of enormous power.

It's all conspiracy theory and almost surely isn't the case.

But the Clintons have done so many ridiculous and beyond absurd things in such frequency that you have to wonder if it's an act or if they're really that incompetent.

8. I don't think she has accepted anything other than her winning.
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 06:25 PM by WIllo
I believe that is her only reality.
I think she's going to make an ugly scene when she is told in private, and afterwards, an even uglier one in public.
Then, her madness will totally unravel.
