***Help End Bittergate: Pass This Video Around & Give It Youtube Hits. It Clears Obama Of Elitism***

It's hard to claim that Obama is some snob that was talking behind Pennsylvania backs, when he made the same comments on the Charlie Rose show in 2004. He also made them in a way that was unoffensive and clearly articulates what he was trying to say.

Help get this video on the front page of the you tube videos section, and post it on your blogs. Send it to the MSM outlets. We need to make sure this footage recieves the attention it deserves. It clears his name and shows that he's not an elitist, he's a person that understands what struggling people are going through.

If this video gets out, his opponents won't be able to continue this character assassination.

Lets help clear Obama's name.

1. But I thought it was no big deal?
Clear his name? Most everyone on here has come up with a reason why it's just a bunch of B.S.

What gives?

5. It is b.s., but his opponents are distorting his comments and trying to use them against him.
This video would basically make them have to apologize for all the things they've been saying about him.

Not only is he not an elitist, he even said people shouldn't be condescending towards small town types that turn to hunting and religion during their hard times.

This stops his critics dead in their tracks.

12. No. It doesn't.
Because the only way that the latest comments weren't condescending is if you assume that he meant the same thing, and just horribly misspoke, that he has trouble expressing his ideas accurately.

If he were *, it would fly.

He's not *.

This leads to a problem. Did he horribly misstate what he thinks, putting religion, guns, discrimination all under the rubric of "things clung to" when times are hard? Or did he say in private what he knows he must never do in public, what he said dems must resist the urge to do in public?

It still sounds to me like the latter, and I'm fairly good at giving people the benefit of the doubt. But I also know what the usual rules for interpreting utterances in context are, and how they can be manipulated. He didn't manipulate them in San Fran, and it's hard to equate the two unless a priori you accept that they are saying the same thing.

This leaves a worse conclusion: Not only is he condescending, but in public he knows to mask his condescension and misrepresent himself in order to get votes. It hands the critics a nail to put in the stick they're trying to clobber him with.

11. where have you been?
The time when a candidate sits backs and waits for the press to give everybody both sides of the story, and tell when falsehoods are told about the Democratic candidates is over.

No matter what it is, you need to tackle it as soon as possible, not wait for the truth to get out.

Isn't that what Kerry did about swiftboat? Wait for the obvious falsehoods to be shown for what they were.

4. You did a great job, Malik. Thanks. Actually Charlie Rose did a great job stating the argument.
After all the lies and veils, when someone speaks truth... it can be hard to believe, I guess.

6. Thanks, i'm just hoping that somebody in the MSM does their job and shows this video.
The Obama camp should be sending it to everyone they know, but sometimes it's up to the supporters to get this stuff out there.

7. Ha ha, that's not their job.
Their job is to toady up to their corporate masters.

OUR job is to get the message across.
