Do we need to let ministers on CNN tell us how to vote? |
|
Sorry, but this CNN program seems like nothing more than an attempt to inject wedge issues into the primary campaign.
We've had enough of that crap during the Bush years, distracting and dividing voters on personal issues has given us two terms of Bush/Cheney and the disaster that has brought.
Enough of injecting religion into politics and elections. Keep it in the church, folks.

Seems they only want to use wedge issues in the Dem primary.

12. I expect this will be the only time I approve of anything McCain does. |
|
but good for him for declining. Obama and Clinton should have as well.

4. We don't need to let ANYBODY tell us how to vote. |
|
I'm with you on the religion/politics/elections thing, but to many it's an important component. I think it's okay to have a religion/compassion forum for those that are interested -- just don't ask these questions in the political debates.

8. Its media manipulation |
|
of the Dem primary, nothing more. They want to see Bush/McCain elected, nothing more.
Best to keep that in mind, CNN is NEVER on the Democrat's side.

Anyone who claims to have the red phone to God is an egotistical asshole as far as I'm concerned.
Now back to your regularly scheduled insults.

One of the big mistakes Democrats have made for the past thirty years is letting right-wing fundamentalists define what it supposedly means to be a moral person in this country. By allowing the Democrats to discuss how their religion shapes their social vision, we take that away from them.
