I hope you don't mind a supreme court that overturns Roe v Wade, a indefinite presence in Iraq, and probably a war with Iran.
Those things all will happen if McCain wins. If you sit home on election day and not vote for whomever the Democratic party nominee is, and McCain wins your state by one vote, take a good look in the mirror.

Like I said, we heard the same kind of crap from Nader supporters back in 2000, when they claimed Gore and Bush were just the same.
How did that turn out?
Hmmmmmm?

who the nominee is.
And as president, she'll have say over who gets on the supreme court. She'll have plenty of "juice" for that.
Go ahead. Sit out the election if she gets the nomination. Just don't come boo-hooing here about McCain being the next president. You WON'T be popular.

For a Democratic candidate who has been with the party through thick and thin, over the course of MANY DECADES.
BTW, I have been here MUCH longer than my profile indicates. I was one of the earlier members, but my computer crashed and I rarely posted because it wasn't a smart thing to do whilst working. I also changed email providers so I couldn't retrieve my details.
Way to play the "I've been here longer than YOU" game. Christ, no wonder there's no substantive discussion here anymore, with that kind of, dare I say, ELITIST, carping....

when he is nominated, good bye and don't let the door hit you on the way out. As it is 10-12% of registered Dems vote GOP anyway. What's a few more DU ideologues? And about 50% of those of eligible voting age don't vote either.
These huffy threats are silly. Personally, I'm just going to hold my breath until I turn blue.

I was shocked to hear this from my own parents. They are in their mid-sixties and had never missed voting....ever, but told me today that they would stay home if Hillary were the nominee. They were that disgusted with how she has run her campaign. I told them I completely understand where they are coming from, but gently reminded them that they have a granddaughter and grandson who are counting on them to make sure the next Supreme Court Justices are not rabid conservatives.
My parents are not overly political people, but they do watch the news and read the paper daily, so it shocked me that their anger at Hillary had reached that point.

despite all that has happened in this primary, with a Dem having the megaphone of the whitehouse it boosts the cause of Dems and liberalism overall. If Obama were to somehow lose the primary, instead of taking it out on the Dem candidate get active to change the party from within by organizing, etc. It's too important to let ego override eliminating the mess conservatives have left.
