1. The media has always favored Edwards.
Thank G-D the media isn't doing the choosing. If they were choosing our nominee....Edwards would have been "the one"....guess what? HE AIN'T.

2. in-cog-ni-to.....I hope you're right....
But I have many doubts about Kerry's ability to withstand the pressure of the orchestrated Edwards campaingn and his Senate buddies...

I wouldn't be surprised if TPTB aren't trying to shut Clark out...

7. EVERYONE?
Sorry. Clark has MILLIONS of grassrooters who DO NOT want Edwards. He's not going to be VP. He has NO FP experience and we are at war. The world hates us and we HAVE to have a VP with Diplomatic and FP experience. Edwards has neither. Kerry is going to be consumed by domestic issues.

6. *smack* *kick*kick*kick*
Anti Bush....you know, as well as I do, that the media has ALWAYS favored Edwards. Look at how they were drooling all over him...day in and day out throughout the campaign.....all the while IGNORING Wes Clark. If Wes got ANY air time it was answering GENERAL SHELTON SMEAR questions. Who is Shelton, you ask??? JOHN EDWARDS' Military/FP advisor. Hmmmm. Interesting, isn't it? Edwards kept Clark busy answering non-stop questions about his FP advisor's smear against Clark, while he smiled pretty day after day on all the news programs. John Edwards isn't going to be VP. He doesn't have enough experience. He has NO FP experience and we are AT WAR! The world HATES us and SOMEONE has to be capable of diplomatic talks with foreign leaders and Iraq???? OMG. John Edwards thinks we SHOULD be there! HOW is HE going to get us out of Iraq? Does he have a plan, like Wes Clark does? Have you ever heard him talk about getting us out of Iraq? I haven't. That someone ISN'T John Edwards. No way is Edwards going to be VP. I just don't see what he brings to the table besides...He has nice hair. He has a good stump speech. He has a nice smile. He has 2 Americas. He is charming. He has charisma. HELLO!!! We are at WAR. He isn't going to be VP.

Ask yourself this. What happens if Kerry dies? Is Edwards capable of running our country? No, he is not. Is Wes Clark capable of running our country? Yes, he is.
At this point, I'll put my trust in Kerry. He HAS to see what we see. He knows who he should choose. If he wants to win in Nov. He will choose Wes Clark...it's that simple. Clark and Dean had HUGE grassroots movements. Kerry would be very smart to choose Clark because WE, the grassroots people, bring a LOT to the campaign....energy, money and a PASSION for Wes Clark. We will work our asses off for him!

9. I think Edwards could do 100 times better than Bush...
But then again, so could a trained chimp. Perhaps simplicity WITHOUT coruption would be a good thing for the oval office.

And as far as winning the election... I'm sorry to say, but last time I checked, grassroots democrats didn't make up 51% of the nation.

I understand who might be the better theoretical choice, but remember... we gotta WIN the election first, and that sometimes means appeasing to the independants (you know, the people that decide the election).

Personally, I won't mind if a non-Edwards is picked and Kerry wins... but if Kerry losses... oh boy... x(

11. Media did not favor Edwards throughout the campaign...
Edwards wasn't a blimp on their radar until after Iowa. He earned some spotlight, but he did it the hard way. With limited money and little to no organization, but just himself and his message he got the work done and the people of Iowa were torn between Edwards and Kerry.

After Iowa, the press did focus on him more because they had done NOTHING on him prior to Iowa. Clark had risen up to like #2 choice nationally behind Dean prior to Iowa. Clark should have campaigned in Iowa. Dean was suppose to win in Iowa.

If the media is talking up Edwards it is partly because of every survey that they have done shows Edwards as the favorite among Democrats. With Edwards as VP Kerry and Clark, and Clark will in in the Administration can focus on Foreign policy and the war. And Clark will be in a much better position in the Administration to do that then VP.

There is more in this world that is important in an election then who has the most Foreign Policy experience. If that was the only thing that was important then Clark would have been our nominee.

10. Having media favor is actually a good thing.

As much as I'd like to see Dean get the VP slot, I think it's gonna be Edwards. We should all prepare for that possibility. And, Edwards is a sound choice on many levels.
