Scranton Times-Tribune endorses Obama
The real difference lies in their likely ability to build the consensus needed to realize their vision. The advantage, in that regard, clearly lies with Mr. Obama.

And...the Allentown Morning Call

Sen. Obama is the one who has distinguished himself as the better agent for changing Washington. Remember, on the issues, the differences between the Obama and Clinton platforms are thin or non-existent. He has set himself apart by enunciating a vision of a different America, one that people recognize as resting on the nation's founding principles. His vision calls upon ''the better angels of our nature'' just as Abraham Lincoln did in 1861.

3. They make a very good point.
Can't you see Obama working the House? If they try any of the same ol' BS, he can use his oratory skill to bring the American people along to demand change from ALL their representatives.

Conversely, can you imagine HilLIARy getting in a stand off with the House? More game playing, more tricks, more lies, more same ol' BS and we keep sinking.

Good point to remember.

4. Well, my House member supports Obama
So he won't need to spend much time on her!

Intersting side note: Two of Carol Shea-Porter's primary opponents in 2006 also voted for Barack Obama.

9. I think this Obama 'bitter" comment fiasco was all planned out.......
I think the Fowler person who blogged about this incident was following him and taping him so any little thing he said that they could latch onto could be used against him. After all think about it - The writer of the "bitter" comment was suppose to be an Obama supporter. If anyone was a supporter of any candidate why would they tape and remark about a private fund raiser and then try to make it such a big issue when everyone that is a true supporter knows that Obama is dedicated to the little guy and was explaining wedge issues that can come into their thinking when it comes to the government. I know people who haven't voted in years because of this and they are hard to reach! So I hope that KO will take a good look at Ms. Fowler and find out what was up with this since she wrote some very demeaning things before about Obama per her Huffington Post bio and then tried to say she was for him!!!!

19. Think about it. The SPECIAL Interest in DC = The American People
Not pharmcos, oil, energy, trade, military industrial complex, political advancement.

People. Of, by and for. Wow. A new chapter.

16. Less informed people (like the working class who thanks to some of the policies of her
husband) have less time and energy to make informed decisions (they believe the spin over taking the time to research the facts) may fall for her "working class/common woman" stance but there is a reason why the majority of the well informed folks here, at Daily Kos and other political sites have come out so strongly against her.

20. Very nice endorsments.
Hillary's main problem is that Barack is just a really fine candidate. He is smart, passionate and really connects well with people.

From the Allentown one: "Past experience like hers is one thing, but leadership also depends on having a vision, plans to pursue that vision, and an ability to inspire others to follow."

I really think Hillary would have had the nomination with ease, against pretty much any other opponent than Barack. Now, under pressure, she and her campaign are making bigger and bigger mistakes. But the real reason is she just has a very very good opponent.
