Oh oh! Joy Behar just called Hillary out on THE VIEW, said she is damaging herself and the Democrats
She said that Hillary is doing more damage to herself and the Democratic party, not by staying in but by her attacks on Obama.

She paraphrased Reagan who said thou shall not speak poorly against another Republican. She said Hillary is accusing Obama of things he shouldn't be accused of by saying he is an elitist, when he is not an elitist. She accused Hillary of twisting Obama's words around. She said Hillary needs to be talking about the Bush administration.

18. Is this like when everyone was overjoyed that
Whoopi, Joy, and Sherri decided to vote for Sen Clinton? And Clinton supporters told us that we have to take these daytime shows like The View and Tyra very seriously because it's where lots of people, especially women, get their information.

5. According to Hill supporters, she has done no wrong.
Fact is she isn't just hurting Obama, she is hurting the entire progressive movement and the party.

10. Oh please, Obama IS an elitist.
It's not Hillary's fault if the guy called small town people "bitter". It resonated in PA.

Besides, he's an opponent. It's not her job to prop him up. He screwed up and he did it to himself.

13. Newsflash:
ALL national politicians are "elitist" to a certain degree..

Billy-Bob from Podunk, USA does not scrape the horse shit off his boots & go straight to a campaign event, where he is adored and elevated to president/congressman/senator status..

Poor-folks don't leave their job at the 7-11 to run for political office..

How many of the "underclass" can you name , who are now serving in DC, in an elected position?

ALL people who achieve national political status are elite in the truest sense of the word. ( although, not all of us believe they are necessarily the "best"..)

Definitions of elite:

* noun: a group or class of persons enjoying superior intellectual or social or economic status
* adjective: selected as the best

16. What kills me is how "elite" is now a BAD thing, like LIBERAL
Wake up Hosers! For christ's sakes you're being told WHAT to THINK!! The word is being FRAMED by right wingers, the same ones that Made Liberal a BAD Thing!!

Its a Great thing to be! Wouldn't you want an Elite FightingForce there to Protect you?

How about an Elite team to send to the Olympics?

Cut the horseshit, don't be led by the nose... Obama IS an Elite member of this election, an intelligent intellectual, not only do I support it, but I admire it!

Fuck being Stupid, haven't we had enough of that? Time for change!

Thanks SoCalDem!

20. There's a difference between "elite" and "elitist."
The first implies "the best, cream of the crop." The other has the connotation of latte and Birkenstocks.

Elitist, unlike "liberal," has always been bad. But you knew that already, I'm sure.

It's time for her to officially join her native party.

Go Joy! :-)

22. hilary is like the hilary horse(as in Trojan)..
And, I am very grateful that Joy Behar spoke out on a national tv show that lots of women watch in the daytime.

I know "elite" is not a bad word but the pols have turned it into something that means the candidate looks down his/her nose at the masses..but here are the real "elites".

"These are the definitions of Elitisim"..

"You want elitism? Try being married to an heiress to a beer distribution fortune and being stuck in the most exclusive club on earth inside the beltway for the past twenty years. THAT'S elitism.

You want elitism? Try making $109 million over the past six years and running for President by virtue of the fact that your husband has already been President. THAT'S elitism.

You want elitism? Try being a pundit that been ensconsed inside the ultimate insider world of Washington politics, and then poo-pooing telling the truth about the mood in the countryside as being "condescending." THAT'S elitism."
