Last nights "debate" was in Obama's favor
Because..

He spoke last.. He was able to take notes on what questions were being asked, and hear hillary's answers. He was able to plan what he was going to say.. what a joke..

Hillary was asked harder questions than Obama.. (as always)

I thought it was funny that once Hillary was done, obama walked in and the crowd went crazy with a standing ovation.. and I could tell Obama and Hillary hate each other by the way they greeted each other..

I also thought it was funny that at every debate the republican media says Obama won.. when they both perform about equal.. AND Hillary never ever wins..

The whole "debate" last night was a joke. What do you all think?

29. Right, you were just looking for our opinion...
After you left your vitriolic message, you turn, and throw out the "what do you think" line, as if for protection. Thats like leading with the warning "No offense, but..." and then proceeding on to the offenses.

BTW - if you don't fully know the meaning of vitriolic, it's one of the many synonyms for "bitter."

3. I'm not sure that going second is always a benefit
When you go first you get to frame the answer however you want. Going second forces you to have to pick up the scraps left by whoever went first.

That being said, I didn't see anything it.

4. I knew some Hillary supporter would bring this up.
You do realize that now that she has whined about always going first, that she really will ALWAYS have to go first from now on, right?

6. Hillary chose to go first
I don't think her questions were harder at all.
Too bad Hillary is contining to harp on the "bitter" meme. There are real issues out there. Shame on the MSM for this.

13. WERE they asked the same questions?
I only tuned in toward the end of Hillary's appearance, so didn't hear what her questions were.

They flipped a coin to see who went first. Can't get any less biased than that.

From what little I DID see - I thought Hillary did well, but Obama did better.

15. I know this may be unscientific
But I watched/listened to the whole thing with a friend of mine who knows nothing about politics and is completely unbiased/uninformed in the political area. Her question to me was:

"Why is he getting all the hard questions?"

28. I may have missed some of the show, but thats what I thought as well.
the moderators brought up the nonsense bitter thing, for one.
were a couple of other occassions where Obama was put in a position to Defend himself (which he did handily, as always) but do not recall that when it was Hillary's turn -

did the mods ask her anything about her negative news stories of late - like Bosnia or all that other crap - where she had to explain or defend herself?

18. What?! You think they always say Obama wins...
You are full of it. For the first 15 debates of the primary after each one they said that Hillary won becuase no one else stood out. EVERY one of the debates.

I am really getting sick of Clinton supporters making shit up just to claim "bias."

IMO they were easier questions.

20. Hillary went first because she won the coin toss & chose to go first
She could have chosen to go second but she didn't, she chose to go first.

It seemed to me that the questions were about 80% the exact same questions. In the few that were different, I disagree with you that either one's was "harder" than the other's. Can you cite an example?

21. Weren't their questions pretty different? I only watched Hillary
and a little bit of Obama, so didn't get the full scope of it, but I thought that the questions were somewhat tailored to each.

I did think she was being extremely careful when she answered, particularly the first one, when they were obviously trying to go all "60 Minutes" on her and get her to put her foot in her mouth (as that question when they kept pressing her whether or not she thought Obama was Muslim). I didn't think she filibustered at all. She gave long answers, but it seemed as if there was a bunch of dead air. It looked as if she was finished, but then she'd look at the panel and they didn't have another question ready, so she would continue on. I thought she was pretty gracious considering how they badgered for the first five or six minutes on SOMEONE ELSE'S STATEMENTS. Typical, though.

22. First thing, it wasn't ever supposed to be
a "debate" but a forum that allowed them to put their best face forward about their values, faith, blah blah.. so it was never a win/lose game. Second of all, Hillary opted to go first, by way of a coin toss. Third of all, they both did ok, considering what it was. He didn't need to take notes, and he couldn't "take notes" from questions asked from the audience members, they were different questions. As far as the standing ovation goes, to be fair, I think the crowd was applauding Senator Clinton's exit, and the entrance of Senator Obama simultaneously. True, he did get a lot of applause during the question answer session, and after, but I think part of the reason for that, was because she essentially painted Gore, Kerry, and Obama all with the same RW attack brush, saying they didn't connect (elitists) and I think that frustrates many of us, who still believe that Gore won, which Senator Obama was able to call her on, by being second, and saying "I still think Al Gore won." The amount of applause is up the crowd, and can't be blamed on the format or anything else, except their opinion of her.

25. First of all...
it wasnt a debate, it was a forum. You might want to look up the difference. Second, only two or three of the questions were the same... and Hillary, as usual, didnt give a single straight answer anyway. Obamas responses were nothing like the 'answers' Hillary gave. He actually addressed the issues and answered the questions. Third, Hillary CHOSE to go first. Dont like it? Take it up with her. Fourth, Hillarys questions werent harder, she just didnt handle them well. And finally - Obama ran circles around her. Deal with it.
