On the network live right now,is he grumpy or mad? You think he's feeling the pressure of his own words? Just a question.

There is no way in hell if you look at his remarks they were "eletist", unless you try to make them that way,. Thus the reason for her being booed this morning for bringing it up aagin.

We all want the dem nominee to win but we shouldn't be giving the rePubes any amo.. If they want to try and make him an elitist that is fine, but still false.. But Hillary should not.

67. Fine then... I will gladly...
This smear campaign is hurting both candidates and giving McCain the look of the good guy. We should stop this infighting, quickly finish the primary business, and move on to the GE with the nominee and the WHOLE party in step behind them.

That does make sense to me..it really does. But I still am not comfortable with his personality and his untested experience. I cannot see him as a President. I have tried to get beyond my checklist of what I would want in a President, it has'nt happened. I love Hillary and know exactly what I would get with her as President.

99. Ok...
He's untested but she's been in Congress for a shorter period of time. Her record as first lady does not qualify her to be president any more than it would for Nancy Reagan or Betty Ford. They don't sit in on meetings. They don't have clearance for classified information. They do nothing. The difference between her and them however is that she pretends she does have experience. In Northern Ireland, et al. And more so, she doesn't seem to have a good memory about such "experience" anyways as proven by the Bosnia comment.

The only thing she brings to office would be dishonesty. She has run a smear campaign akin with the worst of Rovian tactics and it's only got worse as she's slipped further and further down in the polls. As president, we would have a bitter, ravenous, liar to whom the ends justify the means. In short, we would have a republican. Even on things she claims to be favorable on she is not. She believes in NAFTA. She believes that DOMA should not be fully removed. She will not removed DADT. She will not seek an ERA.

I too know what I would get with Clinton... more of the same. I want change.

And those are my two cents,
NTF

113. She does have experience.
The unspoken fact that she was in the White House for 8 years proves to be a sticky point for her. She was there during all the crises and during all the leadership meetings. She was there. Even by default she inherited a wealth of experience just by being there front row. It cannot be faked, she was there.

No matter how many speeches you cite or great lines of policy, he has not been there and there si NO way to gauge what will happen. No real track record except for voting. I voted for the same he has in his term, although mine does not change policy. Governing is different, if we fail to realize this, we will be woefully dismayed if he fails. It could set us back 20 years. At least with Hillary, we know the commoddity, no questions on what she would do for the good of the country.

Obama, we do not know.

123. You're not listening...
She may have been in the White House but she was NOT at Bill's side during meetings no matter how much she claims she was. She doesn't have security clearance for most of that. It would be a felony to discuss classified information with her.

But, yes, with Hillary we know what we're going to get... Welfare reform, throwing millions into abject poverty, pro-marriage initatives (that would be the m-f kind), both under Clinton in 1996 to get reelected. Then we have DADT = discrimination. DOMA = discrimination. I can go on about their EXPERIENCE.

57. He's tired of being continuously vetted on some dumb-ass meaningless crap
since the HRC campaign cannot win on its own merits. He wants to move forward and get to the business of countering McCain as McCain just sits back and waits and bides his time, but the media is aiding and abetting the Clinton campaign as they make pointless, time-wasting attempts to force Obama into deflecting NON-issues.

It's relentlessly stupid bullshit. And I'd bet money that Obama is shaking his head to himself that the Democratic party is shooting its collective self in the foot while they let this circus drag on. And he knows the media is all too happy to help that happen.

165. Straw man. Did I ever imply that he DIDN'T say it? No.
But on a RELATIVE scale, compared to Hillary straight-up pulling a lie out of her ass to pad her resume for "readiness", it's no big deal.

But the media's so hot to get the Democrats fighting in Denver or to get HRC the nom so McCain can kick her ass that they bite on any dregs her campaign digs up. And that's some straight-up bullshit when people who are losing relatives in a war for which SHE voted, and who are losing jobs, healthcare and mortgages won't get their issues addressed because she's too busy chasing down an ego-tripping power grab by any means imaginable rather than trying to help the Democrats get a victory.

124. Ted's endorsement was out of spite,
Mass newspapers covered Teddy's outrage that the Clintons supposedly gave LBJ credit for what Teddy thought JFK deserved re civil rights, and just days later Teddy's out endorsing BO. Seen Teddy out there recently? That might be because of Obama's exposed lie about his "owing his entire existence to the Kennedys" - claiming they brought his dad to the US. But the Kennedys didn't become involved until long after dad was here in the states. BO is a Kennedy-sniffer. We get a lot of them.

than a cemetery. The Kennedys, my family knows them very well (their house in Palm Beach was near ours), also from vacationing in Hyannis. There are so many things that the public doesn't know about these people. There was a reason why Jacquie kept her children away from them. To top it all, Teddy had the balls to criticize Bill when he endorsed Obama. Way too hypocritical and funny. It was a pleasure to see MA go to Hillary by 17%. So much for Teddy, Kerry and the governor's endorsement!!!

125. I believe he is beyond furious with more than just a few
of his so-called supporters.

128. Sheesh
I just wasted 3 minutes on this thread and never found out where Obama supposedly looked grumpy or upset, the context, or anything reomotely useful. Just a long exercise of "Nah -nah! I know you are, but what am I?"

I usually like reading the thoughtfully argued points of people I disagree with. I've even changed my mind once or twice based on the well reasoned opinions of others here. Not today I guess.

Done with you.

136. I know why Obama looks upset today.
There is news out of Chicago that his name has been mentioned again at the Rezko trial.

150. Are they anti-immigrant, gun and bible clinging organizers?
Lord Barack considers them mere peasents. Let them eat arugula!

155. What are you talking about?
Obama is not anti-gun. He is not anti-bible. That doesn't even jive with the usual Rev. Wright BS. If all of you could get together and get your story straight, then I'll be interested in hearing what you all come up with. Until then, leave the Dem bashing at home.

Cheers,
NTF
