*****DEMS DODGE BULLET: BITTER OBAMA AND DUCKBLIND CLINTON BOTH OUTGUN McCURSER in PA****
Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 01:13 PM by dmsRoar
So, tell me again why we still care who wins the PA primary.......since Obama's pledged delegate lead is insurmountable. Here's another big state Obama wins in the General Election. (Add it to the list, couple it with his domination west of the Mississippi and the new states he puts into play.)

PA:
Obama 47-40 over McHundred
Clinton 51-40 over "Johm" (actual spelling in one of his campaign ads) McCain

3. In fairness, you cannot consider Obama's success in several
traditionally red states as an accurate indicator of how he will do in the GE if he is the nominee.

However, there are two sides to the coin--the other being the main thrust of the argument Hillary people here have been desperately tossing around--that because he lost CA, NY and PA in the primaries he will somehow lose these traditionally VERY blue states in the GE.

I also believe that with some work he can win Ohio--even though he doesn't have Clinton's political machinery backing him up.

4. I absolutely would agree there are some red states he can't win, but some red states last time
are now in play or he's leading them already: CO, NC, VA, Iowa, TX, etc.

6. I think that with him as the nominee we pull in CO, VA, IA, and with a little luck,
...maybe TX? Also New Mexico and possibly Nevada.
