to let Dead Intern get a comment in when he's already had his say. It's especially galling when Dead Intern already has an MSNBC show of his own on which to spew his bile, and yet he seems to be on Gregory's panel every other day (if not more frequently). I was hoping when Rachel Maddow was made a regular guest that she'd get decent time but he seems to be shutting her out as often as possible. (Is he jealous of her regular appearances on "Countdown"?)

It's terrible, no matter what candidate you support. It encapsulates what's wrong with this country's media. The whole election is like a game to them; the discussion is shallow and focuses on tabloid type journalism, instead of issues, the pundits are old hacks who everyone's sick of....

This is what is being pushed by some "unnamed sources" - and what was reported on Politico. It's aimed at the SD's more than anything, and some "unnamed candidate" really wants this angle pushed.

24. He inherited Tucker's production staff, for krissakes. |
|
Let's try REALLY hard to think more deeply than a light dew, huh? The on-screen 'talent' is the tip of the iceberg ... and the 'show' is produced and written by a production and editorial staff. Only the 'talent' with CLOUT will get editorial control of their programs in their contract. Olbermann seems to have it ... and Tweety. Gregory clearly does not. He was the White House correspondent who was 'promoted' to his own (inherited) show - replacing Tucker. He does NOT have the experience and background to take control of the tone and tenor of his show. Not yet.
