New Hillary Ad: Making sure you too are offended by showing her supporters express outrage on camera |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 06:03 PM by Arrowhead2k1
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/14/new-clinton-ad-obama-is-out-of-touch/The 30-second spot – which echoes several days of similar criticism from Clinton and her campaign — features a diverse group of voters reacting to Obama’s comments a week ago that some of the state’s residents were “bitter” and turning to guns and religion because of economic pressures.
Full script follows:
Woman 1: I was very insulted by Barack Obama.
Man 1: It just shows how out of touch Barack Obama is.
Woman 2: I'm not clinging to my faith out of frustration and bitterness. I find that my faith is very uplifting.
Man 2: The good people of Pennsylvania deserve a lot better than what Barack Obama said.
Woman 1: Hillary does understand the citizens of Pennsylvania better.
Woman 3: Hillary Clinton has been fighting for people like us her whole life.

Hate me for saying this but everyday its getting harder and harder for me to vote for her if she's the nominee.
I know to keep things in prospective but I'm starting to hate her.

4. You know, I'm still waiting for the scathing Obama ad about Hillary's Bosnia lie |

but it looks like he's above making those kinds of attacks. Even though her crap gets my blood boiling sometimes, I'm confident that the American people will see through her opportunistic ways.

2. Sounds like it could be a republican ad easily. |
|
Just replace "Hillary Clinton" with "John McCain". The differences between them get less every stunt like this.

Those are not actors. Actors know how to make scripted lines sound believable.

8. Did they talk like they were sincere? Or was it like they were reading? |
|
A telltale: were their eyes moving as if they were following a cue card?
I keed, I keed!
It's funny though, but that commercial reads like that old SNL skit:
"I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I'm going to see it again and again."
"I love her. She is much better for the country. I want to vote for her again and again."

Poorly, too.
One of the more laughably insincere commercials i've seen.

10. Are there any still photos of the ad? or even video of the ad? |
|
Quick search on Youtube didn't bring it up (ironically, "Hillary: Out of Touch." is the first result).
I have a reason for asking.

16. GREAT ad! It doesn't say anything |
|
The general reaction to that ad is going to be "Is that all she's got to offer?".
This is incredible. The Obama response ad will probably hit her hard on issues that matter to people like Colombia, NAFTA, Bankruptcy Bill, the war. I can't even believe that's what Hillary brought to the table when she doesn't have money for do-over ads.
