The parade of the red herrings: step up folks!
We have:

racism against Obama
sexism against Hillary
imagined sniper fire
elitist tendencies
Hillary's a drunk
Obama smokes pot (or worse)
She can't do the math
He can't see the writing on the wall
She supported the IWR
He's a baby senator
He's black
she's a woman
her husband is a philanderer
his wife has a mouth on her

In the meantime,
people who need rice to live can't get it
Our children and their children are being slaughtered in Iraq
The economy is in the toilet
The world is warming
Folks are beginning to riot for food
Americans are losing their homes and life as they knew it
Oil companies continue to get government subsidies
Our government tortures

I think it is time for all of us here to call all of the candidates to account for what truly is wrong with American and this world and to quite paying into the game that is politics as usual. These candidates will either sink or swim on what their concrete plans are for pulling us off the brink.

We really should stick to the main tend and aviod the sideshows.

Is this possible anymore?

1. The only "red herring" of yours that I take objection to is the "sniper fire" issue.
I don't feel that it's a red herring...I believe it speaks to the honesty and mindset of the person.

Had she simply embellished or confused some details, THEN it would be a non-issue.

However, she completely fabricated a story to advance her goals, repeated it three more times, and then lied about her reason for making the statement.

I agree with you in general, but this issue makes me concerned about her honesty and (especially in the information age) her judgment.

2. No
We are only capable of obsessing on missing blondes or blondes behaving badly exclusively.

/sarcasm

K & R'd

People will grow up sooner or later I swear.

Though the evidence doesn't suggest that at all.

The truth will win out in the end I swear.
