Obama's definition of Bitter may be different than yours.
Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 07:20 PM by 2rth2pwr
Yes, we have all heard you Obama supporters say that if you're not bitter you're not paying attention,

or you're not a Democrat, or you're lying. Obama has made his appeal based on the power of words, the power of

words to inspire, the power of words to bring about change, blah, blah, blah

Words also can be very revealing, when he spoke on Race in PA this is what he said-

"..Like other black churches, Trinity's services are full of raucous laughter and sometimes bawdy humor. They are full of dancing, clapping, screaming and shouting that may seem jarring to the untrained ear.

The church contains in full the kindness and cruelty, the fierce intelligence and the shocking ignorance, the struggles and successes, the love and, yes, the bitterness and bias that make up the black experience in America.."

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/18/obama.transcript/index.html

Notice how he describes the good and then it's opposite to show that his church is like the human experience, full of the very best, yet plagued

by the very worst of Man's emotions and defects?

In Obama's mind Bitterness is the opposite of Love and is related to Bias. Bitterness is like Bias in Obama's world, so if you

describe yourself as Bitter you are blind to rational thinking. If you're Bitter you are in danger of doing harm. You are in a state where you cannot

be expected to make a good decisions.

Obama places great weight on the words he uses, he takes great pride in his ability to communicate what he means.

He has told the good people of PA and the country that the decisions they make are misguided, wrong and ignorant.

1. So every time he uses the word "bitter" it means the same thing?
I don't think he's as simple as that. Life isn't a geometry proof ...

6. What is Obama bitter about?
And what is his "excuse" for faith?

But hey - let's not forget the rest of that much quoted paragraph.
Immigrants....who voted for the "Fence"? in 2006

And since when are the Bush-Clinton years to be rolled into one economic pattern? Bloody nerve.

Pick on Bushonomics by all means. but pick of democratic successes?
Reap the whirlwind.

7. You do realize that you'd reach more people on Yahoo forums, don't you?
I'll be the first to admit that there are definitely exceptions, but most here are too educated and/or informed to fall for this pseudo-logical hypothesis of yours.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by assuming that you're just sticking to the Clinton party line from a sense of loyalty or you're a college student measuring people's reactions for a thesis.

If you really believe that what you posted has any logical validity, you should probably educate yourself further.

Don't take MY word for it, find a Clinton-supporting logic professor. They will tell you the same thing.

For the record, there is LOADS of Canadians on this board, if you have a problem with me being here (because I am a canadian) then I guess you have a problem with all of us.

What is your problem with Canada / Canadians?
