Clinton will NEVER be President...
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 09:03 AM by rndmprsn
not this time, not next time...certainly not in 2016. not ever.

they are washed up has beens of past politically impotent (for real dems) times....the sooner the clintons walk off the stage and fade away will be the BEST thing for the democratic party.

they are the PAST...we are the party of the FUTURE...get it?

EXAMPLES: DLC, PNAC, WALMART, CORPORATE SELL OUTS, cautious and triangulating, voted for the IWR, and wants war with IRAN, willing to do ANYTHING to win, voted for the BANKRUPTCY bill, etc...

if you agree please K&R...

1. YOu are not necessarily correct.
I just hope that we are not shooting ourselves in the foot again, with a mediocre democratic nominee.

17. Necessarily!
Indeed, a "mediocre nominee".

Monica! Monica! Monica!

Delude yourself into believing that that one name won't deliver a landslide for McCain if Bill's wife is the nominee.

There's mediocre and then there is suicidal.

Either embrace real change or lose.

27. The repukes thrive on sexism and every other -ism
and if Clinton supporters think that the repukes will give their candidate a pass because they suddenly gained a conscious and sexism is passe, they are sadly delusional. Every single disgusting detail of that administration will be laid on the table including Vince Foster, Travelgate, Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, et. al.

They DON'T care.

30. I hope for Monica's sake, this primary race is the end of the Clintons' blind ambitions.
This scandal from her early adulthood has marked her for life, but at least the paparazzi have generally left her alone lately. She got a master's degree from the London School of Economics (and got a standing ovation from her classmates when she received her degree) and has by and large disappeared from view. I'd like to point out that she's one of the few involved in the Clinton's various scandals who has not written a tell-all book.

They're not going away and she will ALWAYS be theirs. Her IWR vote clearly demonstrates that fact.

5. She could have been this time but hired hacks to run the backstage
operation, sanctioned surrogates to race-bait through the winter in NH, SC, and elsewhere, while consistently braying like a jackass about non-issues as an irritating overlay to lies on sniper-fire.

And that's on the days when she isn't boring people to bits as a public speaker.

She's lost the nomination that she once held in her hand and I agree with you that she will likely never be president.

37. True. There WERE a lot of people ready to go to her.
They were waiting on her to actually speak with them. She never did and a big part of that mistake was her campaign management.

It's too late now; she's shown that her priorities are screwed up, doesn't really give a damn about the party. She expected to get in somehow without us.

8. K Gardner is Right about those last 9 words. PLEASE heed . . .
Unless you think you can stop HC, now and/or in the future, all by yourself, you need to learn how to respect people who disagree with you, so that you have SOME chance of eliciting their cooperation in stopping her. To reject them out of hand, shuts the door on any possibility of their cooperation. Rejecting them is "cutting your own nose off to spite their face."

12. Thanks.
Not everyone is definitely in either end of the spectrum on any issue. Many are kind of "here and there", depends on the time of day or context or something . . . ?

It's a commonplace of activism that "You're not out to convince anyone, just to identify and organize those who agree with you." Given the way the current situaiton is ALL diced-up, I think that axiom is obsolete now. We gotta identify the leaners and the "middle-of-the-road" people and establish common cause with them somehow.

Solidarity, rndmprsn!

Also they siphon gas out of people's cars in the dead of night so the people wake up the next morning and don't have enough gas to drive to the hospital. Thousands have died.

This country has moved on from their type of swill they call politics. She probably knows that she will never be president which is why she is trying to take down the party as if she were a spoiled child. It's not gonna happen though. This party will survive her rampage.

23. Here is why...
There is such a slim possibility now that she could pull this nomination off that if she did the stench of skull duggary would be so thick it would make the 2000 coup pale in comparison.

People won't fall for the crap 3 times in a row. A huge part of her base will stay home. The crossover Republican votes she is enjoying now won't be there either. They want Hillary in a battle with McCain so bad they can taste it. Thats why the Republicans are in her corner...for now.

If as little as 20% of her base stayed home and the Republicans vote for whom the are loyal to (which they will in the GE) McCain beats her in a landslide. Republicans play to win and they darn sure get out and vote, and if one is going to beat the Republicans they are going to have to get hip and get to the polls. It's obvious we are getting to the polls thats why the Republicans are desperate and if they can't pick their winner they'll settle to nominate our looser.

I have seen the Republican run Bible Colleges let out to vote and the poll lines are a million miles long. They are not Hillary voters, believe that. Hillary is wasting her time if she thinks she'll make up lost base votes with Republican and Ind. crossovers. She is not that popular with Republicans.
