MOST people are not watching cable "news" shows.. their ratings are quite small..
MOST people don't even read newspapers anymore
MOST people don't watch nightly news shows
MOST people will vote for:
a. the lady, whose husband got a blow job b. the black guy, with the crazy minister c. the old guy, who says "my frennnnnnz" way too much
MOST people are not paying all that much attention to PA politics
MOST people who are "in the know", already know the faults & foibles of all the candidates, and have made up their minds
MOST people are more worried about who will win "American Idol", Miss America, "Big Brother", "Survivor" or "Dancing With the Stars", than who will be president.

:)
Basically those are our choices..and as excorcized as WE get..because we GET it, the next president will be actually chosen by the vast majority who don't.
That's why we all need to relax a bit, and realize that WE don't have all that much control over anything..

The candidates should all go on either "American Idol" or "Dancing With The Stars" whoever wins gets to be President. If that sounds crazy, hey, look on the bright side - by having the election through one of those shows we'll have the highest voter participation ever.

|
I went with Obama.
We won't recognize those health plans after Congress gets done with them.
Perspective. It's a Good Thing.

8. Yep.. all of our angst is just for our benefit/detriment |
|
MOST people are paying little attention to any of it..
A FEW of my friends are political, and they made up their minds ages ago..and nothing will sway them..
one refuses to vote :eyes: two are for Mccain because they are military three or four are for Hillary because she's a "girl" seven or eight are for Barack because he's a smart guy

7. The broadcast media will decide who will win. They will play with a. b. and c. and |
|
set it up. It's a personality, celebrity driven event.

we are "in the know" and tend to obsess on every little detail..
but then I'm sure there are some here, who are more "invested" in which candidate wins..if you get my drift
