"Obama's numbers have plummet--oh, never mind." |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 05:36 PM by CK dexter
A bit of perspective: The voters, meanwhile, have made up their minds. Obama’s numbers in the Gallup poll have been between 49 and 52 for 18 days straight. That is what the financial types call a “narrow trading range.” The ups and downs within that range are statistical noise, nothing more. http://paultough.tumblr.com/post/31755772

5. yeah...but this is from before all the bitter people found out they weren't bitter at all... |
|
so now they are all going to vote for bittlary or mclame, whichever, because everything is really fine, now...
finding out you are not bitter, or even a little disillusioned, changes your whole outlook...
thank you bittlary...things are all better, now...
i still think i'll vote for the guy who i think can lead this country out of this mess...

If she wins the state by 90%, then that might change things. At this point, the superdelegates are basically just humoring her.

|
IF she wins PA by 15, that will raise serious questions about Obama's electability and the Superdelegates will rush to Hillary's side.

The supers won't rush to her side because of her "electability" if that's demonstrated by her ability to carry one state. I know you're probably thinking that there's some kind of domino theory at work here, but it ain't happening. Your theory was supposed to come true after Texas and Ohio, and all that did was buy her time. Winning PA will only buy her time until the next contests.
Obama's delegate lead is insurmountable. She needs to carry every single remaining state by 20 points just to tie him. It's not going to happen.
Keep clapping your hands, hoping Tinkerbell will come back to life though.

|
The will of the people, so far, is telling her to get lost. Besides, I thought you wanted the superdelegates to bail her out? So which is it? Do you want her to be judged on the basis of the popular vote, by which measure she loses, or by the superdelegates, which she is in the process of hemmorhaging?

When Obama won Maryland by 23, Virginia by 29 and Wisconsin by 17, didn't that mean he was more electable.
Or do they don't count.
Why does only PA count.

Have you been paying attention the last three months? When was the last time she emerged from one of these debates with a performance so fundamentally awe-inspiring that it actually reversed voting in her favor on a massive scale? When has this ever happened?

Just because she has to win there doesn't mean Obama has to. She's the one who needs to prove that she has any kind of credibility left as a candidate. This is why so much has been made of her performance there, as opposed to North Carolina, where she is expected to get her ass handed to her.

the convention, and a McCain win in November because of a depleted youth and black turnout. Hillary has 55% negatives, and will be destroyed in the general.

Hillary can't win the nomination by getting more elected delegates, so her chances are ALL ABOUT THE IMPRESSION... and the impression remains that Obama is widely favored over Clinton across the nation. Obama's number are holding strong, but Hillary's are starting to plummet.
She's done like dinner.
