You have have gotten through.
Keith Olbermann show a tape of Obama talking abut his his "gaffe" and Obama noted that it was nothing he hadn't said at campaign appearances and "on Charlie Rose several years ago."
Don't know if your contact was a reminder to Obama's campaign, but there it is.

They actually replayed that clip on last nights Charlie Rose show, becasue Bob Casey was on and they were talking abour "bittergate."
