We just had a Barack Fundraiser

Wasn't that big about 40 people attened. $25 dollars a head. I brought my mom because she's one of those 400,000 PA voters that switched their registration (she was a repug but Barack has her converted). She was a little out of place at times with some of the harder core democrats but they welcomed her to the party lol. Anyway I just wanted to point to the sharp contrast of our fundraiser to the other fundraiser in town with Bill Clinton which was $2300 to attend across town. These were all working class people some of which had volunteered for Barack here in PA. Our guest speaker was a volunteer who spoke about why she is working for Barack. I know we took a night off the phones to relax (which is also why there wasn't more people) but I think we have earned it. We have really done some amazing things in the Lehigh Valley for Barack.

All I got to say is Elitist fuck that. Working class people getting together for a dinner of Meatballs and Chicken Nuggets as opposed to the Filet Mignon that was being served across town.

that any democrat would look down on this kind of grass roots political action - but I'm sure some HRC supporter will find a way to snipe at you all. I say to hell with that and good for you - I'm sure Americas founders would approve. Democracy is, was, and always will be - at its heart - a grass roots movement.
