Hillary: Voted for the IWR - Obama: Voted to continue funding the war - Explanation below.
Knowing the facts now - Hillary never bothered to read the NIE report, and just voted blindly for the war and give Chimp the mandate to destroy everything his hands can get on.

However, the reasons Obama voted to continue funding, because if the funds stop, then the troops would have no way to survive the Iraq mess that Chimp left to clean up, and also to put some money into withdrawing the troops at a later date. I'm sure this law will be re-looked at once Obama is in the mantle, and use the bill and send it back to Congress for modifications to completely withdraw the troops, and sell the US Embassy in Baghdad to the highest bidder and get the fuck out of the country, start thinking reparations to the Iraqi people for their pain and suffering - by freezing all Halliburtion's assets and other Iraq contractor/mercenaries' assets and use the funds to help rebuild the country for real.

1. the way things are going...
(re: greatest depression of all coming up)

by the time he'll get in there, 80% of the US will need bread and water just to survive another day...

reparations will be moved way down the list of priorities!

2. Disagree in part
It was pointed out by many, including many in Congress that there was enough money to fund the troops for several months without the funding bill being approved.
He has not said he will completely withdraw the troops.
I don't remember him saying anything about selling the US Embassy to the highest bidder

Halliburton is moving it's corporate offices to Dubai.
They have also moved billions of it's assets to the Middle East.
Freezing their assets is virtually impossible.

4. Even if Halliburton moves to Dubai
It'll STILL have its assets frozen via banking system

3. As a military veteran with some personal understanding of how these things work
I can't criticize the Dem legislators who approve the funding. Despite what people think about how cutting funding will immediately end the war a la Vietnam, that is not the case. The President has the ability to get almost unlimited funding to continue operations without Congressional approval (Bill Clinton was able to do it back in the 90s for Haiti) and the pack of sociopaths in charge right now has no qualms about leaving those kids over there with inadequate armor and supplies, while blaming the traitorous Dems for it.

5. I pledged that today was going to be a light day for criticism
So I'll just say, I completely agree.
